Abstract

This article offers a critical analysis of teleworking and contemporary enslavement, indicating the ways in which teleworking can enslave the worker today. The goal is to analyze how the exhaustive workday can be harmful and to defend the need to limit the workday as a form of ensuring health for the worker. The research consists of bibliographic methodology and historical analysis. We will analyze decisions and doctrines and make a historical recollection of how labor emerged and how it is viewed nowadays, mainly in regards to the pandemic, which forced a rapid change of the ways in which most workers were accustomed to practicing their jobs.
