From Divorce to compensatory alimony

An analysis in the current context of Brazil.

Abstract

This article presents a critical analysis about the divorce process in the current context of Brazil, highlighting the way it occurs and the consequences it may bring, especially in regards to compensatory food and the appearance theory, both ordinary nowadays. The goal is to analyze how spouses’ life standards can interfere at the moment of the divorce. The research consists of bibliographic methodology and historical analysis. Thus, we will analyze decisions and doctrines and perform an evaluation of how this situation fits the country’s current context.
